an advocate for the river, on the river, is a documentary about a program based out of Healdsburg,
California. The Russian Riverkeeper works to protect the Russian River, a vital public resource, from gravel mining, waste water dumping, and any other actions that may degrade the health of the watershed. The Riverkeeper responds to citizen complaints as well as makes frequent patrols to enforce existing laws protecting the watershed. The Russian Riverkeeper is a part of the Waterkeeper Alliance, which is a worldwide watershed protection program. To visit their website, click here.
